Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Liquidiction ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. What Liquidiction Is

Liquidiction is a non-custodial frontend interface and order router. We aggregate and display HIP-4 prediction markets that are deployed and operated on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain by independent third-party deployers, and we route user-initiated orders to the Hyperliquid protocol. We are not:

  • An exchange, broker, dealer, swap dealer, futures commission merchant, or trading venue
  • A custodian of your funds or assets at any point
  • A financial advisor or provider of investment, legal, or tax advice
  • A market maker or counterparty to any trade
  • The deployer, operator, or oracle of any market displayed on the Platform

All trades execute directly on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain. We do not have the ability to execute, reverse, modify, or settle any transaction on your behalf. We do not deploy markets, define outcomes, set resolution criteria, choose oracles, or determine settlement — these are functions of the independent HIP-4 deployer and the Hyperliquid protocol. We do not exercise discretion over which orders execute, when, or at what price; all order parameters are set entirely by the user.

3. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these terms
  • You are not located in a jurisdiction where prediction market trading is prohibited
  • You are not subject to economic sanctions or listed on any prohibited party list
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

4. Financial Risk Disclaimer

Prediction market trading involves substantial risk of loss.

  • You may lose some or all of your invested capital
  • Past performance of any trader or market does not guarantee future results
  • Prices displayed on the Platform reflect live market data from Hyperliquid and may be delayed or inaccurate
  • Market outcomes are settled by the Hyperliquid protocol and the relevant market deployer, not by Liquidiction
  • Liquidiction takes no position on the regulatory classification of HIP-4 outcome tokens or any other digital asset displayed on the Platform; you are responsible for determining the legal status of your own activity in your jurisdiction

Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

5. Network Disclaimer

Testnet: When operating on the Hyperliquid testnet, tokens (USDH) have no monetary value. The Platform may have bugs, errors, or incomplete features. Testnet data may be reset at any time by Hyperliquid.

Mainnet: When operating on the Hyperliquid mainnet, real funds (USDC) are at stake. All trades are final and executed on-chain. Liquidiction is not responsible for any losses incurred from trading, network issues, or smart contract behavior. You trade entirely at your own risk.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Securing your wallet and private keys
  • All transactions initiated from your wallet
  • Understanding the risks of prediction market trading
  • Complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Paying any taxes on gains from trading
  • Verifying trade parameters before signing transactions

7. Agent Wallet System

For convenience, Liquidiction uses a temporary agent wallet system for trade execution. When you approve an agent, a temporary key pair is generated in your browser and authorized by your main wallet to submit orders on your behalf. These keys are:

  • Stored in your browser's session storage (cleared on tab close)
  • Limited to trading operations only (cannot withdraw funds)
  • Revocable at any time by disconnecting your wallet

8. Third-Party Bridge Services

Liquidiction integrates third-party cross-chain bridge services (currently powered by LI.FI) to allow users to transfer assets from other blockchains to Hyperliquid. By using the bridge feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Liquidiction does not custody, hold, control, or have access to any funds during the bridging process
  • Bridge transactions are executed by third-party protocols (LI.FI, and underlying bridge providers such as Across, Stargate, Hop, etc.) and are subject to their own terms of service
  • Liquidiction is not responsible for any loss of funds, delays, failed transactions, or errors that occur during bridging
  • Bridge fees are charged by the underlying bridge protocols and/or the LI.FI aggregator, not by Liquidiction
  • Cross-chain transactions carry inherent risks including smart contract vulnerabilities, bridge exploits, and network congestion
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the destination chain, token, and amount before confirming any bridge transaction

The bridge feature is provided as a convenience and does not constitute an endorsement of any bridge protocol. Use at your own risk.

9. Network and Protocol Risks

You acknowledge the risks inherent in blockchain technology:

  • Smart contract bugs or vulnerabilities in the Hyperliquid protocol
  • Network congestion, downtime, or forks
  • Settlement errors or disputes in market resolution
  • Liquidity risks in low-volume markets
  • Price manipulation in markets with few participants
  • Regulatory changes affecting prediction markets or cryptocurrency

10. Chat and Social Features

Liquidiction provides global and per-market chat rooms, profile badges, follower relationships, and social sharing features. By using these features, you agree to:

  • Not post spam, harassment, threats, hate speech, or illegal content in chat
  • Not impersonate other users, projects, or public figures
  • Not use chat to coordinate market manipulation or wash trading
  • Not post phishing links, scams, or malicious content
  • Accept that chat messages are public and visible to all users
  • Accept that we may moderate, remove, or restrict chat access at our discretion

Badges (Waitlist OG, collab giveaway, X connected) are non-transferable and awarded at our discretion. We reserve the right to revoke badges for violations of these terms.

11. Third-Party Promotions and Contests

From time to time, Liquidiction may display leaderboards, dashboards, or features tied to promotions, trading contests, giveaways, or sponsored events operated by third parties (including but not limited to ecosystem partners, sponsors, protocols, or other projects). Examples include sponsored trading competitions with prize pools funded by third-party sponsors.

When Liquidiction displays such a third-party promotion, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Liquidiction does not operate, organize, or administer the promotion
  • Liquidiction does not determine or verify eligibility, winners, or prize amounts
  • Liquidiction does not hold, custody, transmit, or distribute any prize funds at any point
  • All official rules, eligibility criteria, prize amounts, payout currency, KYC requirements, jurisdictional restrictions, tax treatment, and dispute resolution are governed exclusively by the third-party operator (the “Sponsor”)
  • The Sponsor is solely responsible for compliance with applicable sweepstakes, contest, tax, and anti-money-laundering laws in affected jurisdictions
  • The Sponsor is solely responsible for prize distribution, including any required identity verification, tax reporting, and withholding
  • Any prize amounts, dollar figures, or payout information displayed on Liquidiction are informational and sourced from the Sponsor; Liquidiction makes no independent representation or warranty regarding any prize
  • Liquidiction’s role is limited to providing a user interface that displays public on-chain trading activity relevant to the promotion

No purchase or trade through Liquidiction is required to use the Platform’s core features.Participation in any third-party promotion is voluntary and governed entirely by the Sponsor’s official rules, which will be hosted on the Sponsor’s own website or a clearly identified Sponsor-controlled URL.

Liquidiction makes no warranties regarding any third-party promotion and disclaims all liability for prize awards, prize non-payment, Sponsor insolvency, Sponsor misconduct, eligibility disputes, tax consequences, or any other outcome of a third-party promotion. Your sole recourse for any issue arising from a third-party promotion is against the Sponsor directly.

Liquidiction reserves the right to discontinue displaying any third-party promotion at any time, with or without notice, including for reasons related to legal compliance, Sponsor conduct, or platform integrity.

12. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
  • Attempt to manipulate markets or engage in wash trading
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Platform
  • Abuse API endpoints or interfere with the Platform's operation
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
  • Use automated tools to scrape data beyond reasonable personal use

13. Regulatory Status

Liquidiction operates as a non-custodial, frontend-only user interface and order router for HIP-4 prediction markets that are independently deployed on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain. We rely on applicable U.S. and international regulatory guidance for non-custodial digital asset interfaces, including but not limited to interpretations by the SEC and CFTC concerning broker-dealer, swap dealer, futures commission merchant, and venue operator definitions. We do not:

  • Take custody of user funds at any point
  • Act as a broker-dealer, swap dealer, futures commission merchant, exchange, swap execution facility, designated contract market, or transfer agent
  • Provide investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations to trade
  • Execute, settle, or counter-sign trades on behalf of users (all transactions are user-initiated and user-signed via the user's own wallet or authorized agent key)
  • Hold, control, or have access to user private keys
  • Deploy markets, define outcomes, set resolution criteria, choose oracles, or determine settlement (these functions belong to the independent HIP-4 deployer and the Hyperliquid protocol)
  • Exercise discretion over which orders execute, when, or at what price (order parameters are set entirely by the user; routing is deterministic based on user input)

Fees.Liquidiction may receive a builder-tag fee paid by the Hyperliquid protocol on trades routed through our interface, in accordance with Hyperliquid's native builder-tag mechanism. We do not separately charge users transaction fees, commissions, custodial fees, or platform fees. All transaction costs are charged by the Hyperliquid protocol directly to the user.

Discovery features. Leaderboards, trending indicators, market discovery rankings, follower lists, badges, and similar features displayed on the Platform are informational presentations of public on-chain activity. They are not recommendations, solicitations, or investment advice. Users select markets and orders entirely at their own discretion.

HIP-4 outcome tokens are digital representations of positions on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain. Liquidiction takes no position on whether any such token, market, or activity constitutes a security, commodity, swap, event contract, or other regulated financial instrument under any jurisdiction's laws. Users are solely responsible for understanding the regulatory status of their own activity and for complying with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

14. Intellectual Property

The Liquidiction name, logo, and interface design are proprietary. The Platform's source code, unless otherwise noted, is the property of Liquidiction. Market data displayed on the Platform is derived from the public Hyperliquid blockchain and third-party APIs.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liquidiction and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Trading losses or missed opportunities
  • Errors in displayed data, prices, or analytics
  • Platform downtime or service interruptions
  • Actions of third parties (Hyperliquid, wallet providers, etc.)
  • Unauthorized access to your wallet or account

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Liquidiction and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.
